Athletic and academic aid
Academic/merit: Merit/academic aid is typically available at four-year schools; confirm the school-specific options.
Stackable: Flag football is an equivalency sport at most aid-granting levels, so athletic + academic aid can often be combined; confirm the school's policy.
Source note
School's own release (2026-10-14): 'Full varsity competition is planned to begin in spring 2028.' UJ is an NCAA D-II member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, but the NSIC does not sponsor flag football and UJ expects competition through individual contests, regional jamborees and multi-team events, so the flag conference is unknown. Next year is for hiring the first head coach and recruiting roughly 20-25 athletes. Verified 2026-10-22.
