Source note
School's own release (2026-10-15) adds women's flag football as its 29th VARSITY sport for the 2027-28 academic year. The program competes in the spring semester, early March through April, so first competition is spring 2028. Conference affiliation is explicitly still to be determined; head-coach search opened immediately; target 12-game schedule, 12-16 athletes, home games at Butterfield Stadium. Verified 2026-10-22.
